Roll Making

They don’t have Rhodes Rolls in the grocery stores in New Jersey like they do here in Utah, so when we lived there, my friend Amanda taught me how to make the best rolls ever! Tami, Jennie & I got together and made these Rolls for Thanksgiving this year. They turned out wonderful!

Post-surgery dinner, can you guess the theme here?

A friend of ours had some cosmetic surgery done recently and so Tami and I took her dinner. We had a good laugh as we presented her with these delicious Entres. Jello implants and booby meatloaf on a silver platter.

The Police Concert 2008 Salt Lake City

The day the Police concert tickets went on sell here in SLC, Beau was on the internet trying to get the best tickets available no matter the cost. Beau anticipated this night for a few months! We got together with a group of friends for dinner at a Japanese Steak House and then headed to the big show! It was a beautiful night outside at the USANA Ampitheater! The show was amazing and we had seats on the 8th row which made the show even better!…from what I hear, there were 22,000 people there that night!

Our dear friends from New Jersey, Mike & Emily and their boys came to Utah for a visit! We got to spend some quality time with them while they were here! We met them at Lagoon and then went to Bear Lake! It was so fun to catch up on each others lives and let our boys play!

Miss Spectacular Pageant

We were invited to a very fun suprise birthday for our friend Nicole this past weekend. She loves pageants so her husband planned it all out and did beautiful invitations and pulled off the surprise. It was hilarious because we actually had a pageant after Nicole showed up and the guys dressed up in there evening gowns.  Take a look at the pageant here.  I was asked to be the M.C. you can’t hear me very well but just watching the video makes you laugh.  Beau dressed up as Miss Texas and came out in FLDS attire. What a funny night.

CEO MOM

My friend Jen started this brilliant new website called ceoMom.com. It is a website for Moms who want to run their homes like a CEO runs a business. It is complete with community, networking, blogging, photo uploading, etc. You can take a “Tour” or read the “Vision” on the site.
